Creating an Account
Creating an account on iBreak allows you to interact with Breakers and the iBreak community via chat, follow your favorite Breakers to receive alerts when they go live and, of course, buy into and participate in breaks and track your hits.
Step 1) To sign up for an account, go to www.ibreak.com/pages/register/
Step 2) Fill out the form on the right-hand side; choose a username, password, email address and date of birth then click the Sign Up button. Alternatively, you may also sign up for an iBreak account by using your Facebook account, achieved by selecting the "Connect with Facebook" button.
Step 3) Check your email for link to complete account activation. This will bring you back to the iBreak.com website where you can now login to your new account.
iBreak Account Settings
Profile
Display Name: This setting allows you to modify the capitalization of your name, which will show on your profile page, chat, messages and live break randomizers. This will not capitalize your name in chat, and this is not a name change.
Email: Here you can change the email your account is bound to. This is the email used to send you notifications, newsletters, and also account recovery if you forget your password.
Profile Picture: Upload a profile picture, which will personalize your profile and give you a personality amongst the iBreak community! This picture will be associated with your display name in chat and in other areas of the site. Bear in mind the maximum file size for a profile picture is 3MB and limited to the following formats: .gif, .jpg, .png.
Bio: Your Bio is a short description of who you are, what you like, what you collect, or whatever you wish to share to the world. The max length of this bio is 150 characters and will be displayed under your banner on your profile page.
Social: Add any social links and info about yourself that you would like to share with the iBreak community. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Security and Privacy
Change Password: If you ever decide to change your password, click the "Change Password" link to display a form requiring your current password, a new password you wish to use, and a confirmation of your new password.
Block Breakers: You can opt to not receive messages from Breakers that you do not follow. To do so simply click the check-box next to the Breakers name and iBreak.com will not allow those selected Breakers to message you.
Hit Bank: Decide which items you have that you would like others to see. Bragging rights are a big part of iBreak.com but you may just have some items that you want to keep to yourself. We give you total control over which items you would like to be public or private.
Funding My Account
Click on “Fund my Account”: Select which Hitcoin™ package you would like and click to purchase. You can pay via Credit Card, PayPal, EFT, etc. For every dollar you spend your account will be credited that many Hitcoins™. Inside the iBreak.com community Hitcoins™ hold the same cash value as real money with both Breakers and Break Participants.
Buying Into a Break
Break Filters: iBreak.com gives you the ability to easily find exactly what you're looking for. On the main page in the left sidebar are various filters such as; Sort by Sport, by Break Type, Breaking Soonest, Etc. Selected breaks will then appear on the main page allowing you to click on each one viewing all of the details and allowing you to buy into a spot(s).
Buying a Spot(s): Once you’ve found your perfect break simply click buy and you and follow the onscreen instructions. Depending on break and break type you will be given different options to select before completing your purchase.
Hitcoins™: In order to keep iBreak.com a safe and easy to use environment the only thing that cost you money is the purchase of Hitcoins™. These can be used to purchase into any breaks or anything else our site or our Breakers has to offer. You can purchase Hitcoins™ in pre-determined amounts depending on your budget and Break Style. So there is no confusion our conversion rate is straightforward ($1US = 1 Hitcoin™).
